An Adventist Church Planting Movement Passionate About Secular Mission.

We Are R3.

The R3 Network is a missional movement within the Seventh-day Adventist church. R3 stands for the 3 overarching layers of discipleship: Rest, Resist, and Restore. Rest captures our passion for the good news of Jesus calling us into relationship, not religion. Resist points to our identity as a prophetic movement that protests the injustice and oppression of empire. And Restore celebrates scripture’s Kingdom vision of a world reborn in love, a promise that begins right here and right now in each of our lives.

Based in the city of Perth, Western Australia, our mission is to root the gospel in a secular context, reaching emerging generations and cultures that are spiritually hungry, but uninterested in traditional church programs.

Beyond this local vision, we also want to empower a new generation of Adventists who have a passion for secular culture to build, launch, and grow missional networks in their own local contexts. Join us on this journey as we work to be the change we long to see in our church.

Planters.

Planting churches is central to rooting the gospel in new mission fields. This is especially true in secular-western contexts like Europe, Australia, Canada, and increasingly the USA. But planting a church is only half the journey. Ensuring that the new church is specifically designed for effective secular, unchurched engagement is the other half.
